Fine woodworking and bespoke joinery detail

Finishing

Bespoke finishing & detailing

Custom joinery, roofline details and finishing touches — where the standard detail is not quite enough.

Some jobs need more than off-the-shelf sections: a hip that does not quite match the drawing, a feature trim to tie old and new together, or a piece of joinery that has to look right from the pavement. That is where bespoke finishing comes in — measured, made and fitted with patience.

Hand-finished joinery, roof details and interiors that need to look right up close.

Roof and verge details

Leadwork alternatives, timber dressings and specialist trims can all be part of getting the roof looking intentional rather than patched. We work from photos, surveys and common sense so the detail works in the weather, not just on paper.

Matching existing work

Extensions and repairs often have to sit next to older timber or profiles that are no longer stock items. We take patterns, sample colours where helpful, and machine or shape timber so new work belongs with old.

  • Upgrades to visible roofline or porch details
  • Coordination with roofing and decorating schedules

The last five per cent

Finishing is often what clients remember: tight joints, clean lines, and someone who cared when nobody was watching. We treat that stage of the job with the same seriousness as the structure underneath.
